Key Workers

Each child is assigned a key worker to ensure that his/her individual needs are met.

Behaviour

We promote positive behaviour, establishing clear boundaries according to the child's level of understanding. Good behaviour is encouraged with praise and unacceptable behaviour is explained, please ask a member of staff to see our Behaviour Management Policy.

Equal Opportunities

We promote equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice for all children. We ensure all children are included and have access to our full range of activities. Please ask a member of staff to see our Equal Opportunities Policy.

Special Needs

We endeavour to meet the child's individual needs. Alison Rieley (pre-School leader) is the designated SENCO. Please ask a member of staff to see our Special Needs Policy.

Healthy Snack

Snack time is a social occasion where we promote healthy eating and request that parents support us in this.
Milk is offered free of charge and water is always available for the children to help themselves.
Any special dietary requirements are adhered to. Please ask to see our Nutrition Policy.

NUT Free Zone!

We have some children with SEVERE nut allergies; so we ask parents to ensure that no nuts or food with nut traces are sent in with their children as a snack

Curriculum

Our carefully planned curriculum runs parallel to The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and covers all six key areas of learning following the stepping stones development path.
